Biological Pillar- What the I saw in the movie was that the grandmother shares stories or their beliefs. The don't leave the island by their culture. They were all sat together and they were learning by story telling. In sensation Moana touched the water and each pedestal of every chief.
Cognitive Pillar- In memory Moana's father was just like Moana, wanting to go beyond the reef. But due to an incident that the father lost his best friend had a bad memory from it. He's traumatized from that incident. And he stops anyone from going beyond the reef to keep everyone safe. When Moana saw the pictures on the boats there was like a "flashback" on who they were before they forbid to voyage.
Life Span Development and Learning Pillar- In learning Pillar they were leaning by story telling. In one of Moana's songs she's singing about wanting to go beyond the sea and explore out of the island. The chief (father) keeps everyone safe in one place while Moana who's going to be the next chief, she wants to thrive and explore. She learns from her curiosity by going to the sea even when she wasn't supposed to.
Social and Personality Pillar- In social and personality Moana was always a curious little girl and she loves the sea and her grandmother would always dance by the see so Moana would join her. Her curiosity got the best of her to going beyond the reef, like if she kind of wanted show that it's not dangerous or that there's fish beyond the reef.
Mental and Physical Pillar- In Physical health everyone on the island does something physical. There's different groups that do a certain job, some harvest plants or tress while others fish. In one of the scenes Moana is teaching some kids their cultural dances. When Moana first tried to go beyond the reef she failed but it didn't stop her from going again or finding another way to help her people. She is also flourishing by her grandma showing the cave where her people used to be voyagers and she goes off to give back the heart of Te Fiti. She's flourishing as a person and to help save her island and her family.
